About the BMRA

Founded in 1998 through the merger of the two established market research trade associations, ABMRC (Association of British Market Research Companies) and AMSO (Association of Market Survey Organisations).

The sole trade association open to suppliers in the British market research industry and is a growing association with over 200 members.

Member companies have combined turnover of nearly 700 million and account for around 80% of the UK market research industry.

Membership is open to research companies of good standing who must, amongst other requirements, abide by the BMRA Quality Charter and re-affirm their strict adherence to the MRS or ICC/ESOMAR codes of conduct.

The BMRA endorses the MRQSA (Market Research Quality Standards Association) standards.
